Ingredients
  

  • 680 g 1.5 lbs Extra-lean ground turkey (99%/1%)
  • 110 g 1 medium Yellow onion (Diced)
  • 9 g 3 cloves Garlic (chopped)
  • 60 g 2 cups Spinach
  • 164 g 1 whole Red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 794 g 28 oz Canned tomatoes
  • 425 g 15 oz Tomato sauce
  • 244 g 2 cups Whole grain pasta (Uncooked)
  • 14 g 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 500 g 2 cups Chicken broth

Instructions
 

  • Begin by boiling 6 cups of water for the pasta.
  • Once the water is boiling, add pasta and cook according to the packaged instructions.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  • Add in ground turkey. Once onions and garlic get some color, mix the turkey, onions, and garlic.
  • Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce,
  • Stir in the pasta, tomato sauce, chicken broth, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
