Ingredients
  

  • 32 oz Ground Beef 93% Lean (907.2 g)
  • 3 tsp Garlic Powder (9.3 g)
  • 20 oz Whole Grain Pasta 567.0 g
  • 14.5 oz Tomato Canned (411.1 g)
  • 8 oz Tomato Sauce Canned, No Salt Added (226.8 g)
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth Low Sodium (480.0 g)
  • 1.5 tsp Oregano Dried (1.5 g)
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder 6.9 g
  • 1/4 tsp Salt Table (1.5 g)
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper (0.6 g)
  • 1.5 cups Cottage Cheese Nonfat (315.0 g)
  • 1 cup Cheese Mozzarella, Low Moisture, Part-Skim, Shredded (86.0 g)
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Dry, Grated (100.0 g)
  • 6 cups Spinach (180.0 g)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic for one minute.
  • Add lean ground beef, salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried onion flakes. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through.
  • Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chicken broth or water, and pasta noodles. Stir until well combined.
  • Cover and bring to a boil. After reaching a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 14-15 minutes or until noodles are tender.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in fat-free cottage cheese and sprinkle part-skim mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Cover for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted. Add fresh chopped basil if desired and serve.
